The NPD Group of Port Washington, NY has appointed Mike Leahy president of its Canadian market research business. He will oversee the company's technology, home, fashion, food and custom market research services in Canada from its Toronto office. Leahy has previously worked at Nielsen Media Canada, Angus Reid Strategies and Harris/Decima Canada.
