NPD Group appoints Canadian president

The NPD Group of Port Washington, NY has appointed Larry Moore to the position of president of the company’s Canadian business unit. NPD is a provider of consumer and retail information. In his new position, Moore will be based in Toronto and will lead the firm’s Canadian product lines, which include information on the apparel, automotive, consumer electronics, food and beverages, foodservice, footwear, housewares, technology and video game sectors. Moore has been at NDP for 23 years, overseeing information services for the automotive, petroleum and convenience store industries.
