Schick begins Movember promotion

Energizer Personal Care has begun an online promotion for its Schick Hydro razor brand tied to the Movember fundraising campaign for prostate cancer research. Canadian visitors to the brand's Facebook page can download a "license to grow" a moustache as part of the campaign during the month of November. Visitors can upload a photograph of themselves, select a style of moustache, then share the license with others on the site. "Movember is fun and raises funds for a great cause, but there are still some growing rules Mo bros need to follow," said Paul Reed, brand manager for Schick men's systems. "We encourage all Canadians to download our license to grow and stay in the know on how to grow. We want to invite everyone to get a license to grow and proudly show their support for this great cause because the cure for prostate cancer may be right under your nose. And if someone asks you if you have a license for that thing growing on your lip, you actually will."
