Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation conducts Pink Tour

The BC/Yukon chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation has begun a traveling promotion called "The Pink Tour" intended to encourage women in BC to get mammograms. The initiative, developed by Vancouver-based Traction Creative, makes use of a pink branded bus that will travel the province during the summer with a group of promotional workers who will distribute information about the importance of mammograms. The tour is supported by television commercials, print ads and a website at <http://www.thepinktour.com>. "Traction could not have better encapsulated the spirit of the Pink Tour," said Linda Morris, CEO of the chapter. "You spot the big pink bus coming from a mile away. It's a symbol to British Columbian women that no matter where in BC you live, CBCF is making your breast health a priority."
