PepsiCo resumes Bring Home a Stanley Cup Champion contest

PepsiCo Canada has resumed a contest promotion called "Bring Home a Stanley Cup Champion." The initiative, now in its fifth year, includes the Pepsi, Lay's and Gatorade brands. Canadian consumers can enter the contest by submitting their favourite Stanley Cup playoffs moments in the form of a 100-word story with or without a picture. Entries can be submitted through the contest website at <> until April 17. Three finalists, chosen by a judging panel, will create online videos explaining why they should win. The finalist must then seek to attract votes through social media services. The winner will receive a party attended by hockey players Mark Messier, Doug Gilmour and Guy Carbonneau, as well as the Stanley Cup trophy. "This year, we're thrilled that all Canadians will have the opportunity to show their love and enthusiasm for our national sport," said Susan Irving, director of marketing at PepsiCo Foods Canada. "Not only will the grand prize winner experience a once in a lifetime opportunity, but the second and third place finalists will also be rewarded with intimate at-home Playoffs Parties to be enjoyed with their regional Stanley Cup champions."
