CUNDARI WINS FRIENDLY'S

Charlie Brown and the gang helped Toronto-based Cundari Group win a U.S. account last month. The agency is handling advertising for Friendly's restaurant chain. For about a year, Cundari's Massachusetts office has been working on a database project for the chain, which has 750 restaurants throughout the Eastern United States. Cundari's office in the U.S. will service, the account, and the Toronto office will handle creative. The first campaign will be launched on July 10 featuring the Peanuts cartoon characters. It will use T.V., radio, print, inserts and flyers. Media Buying is done by U.F. of R in Richmond, Virginia.
