Cundari readies media agency

Toronto-based Cundari Group is preparing to launch a stand-alone media agency in the fall. According to the company, the unit is intended to "re-engineer" conventional media planning and buying to address the diversity and transparency required by the current media marketplace.

"Cundari has built its reputation on strategic thinking, award-winning creativity and customizing smart integrated solutions for our clients," said Cundari CEO and chairman Aldo Cundari. "The vision for this innovative media agency includes a fully automated client solution unlike anything we've seen in the North American marketplace."

The unit will be headed by vice-president and managing director of media Luke Moore. He was most recently brand lead at Wills & Co. Media Strategies. Prior to that, he was new business lead at Saatchi & Saatchi and senior vice-president and general manager at MacLaren McCann Toronto. He has also held a number of positions at M2 Universal, including vice-president and director of media.
