Specialty channel World Fishing Network has signed-on as a sponsor of the Berkley B1 Canadian Open fishing tournament, which will take place at Lake Saint-Francis in Quebec on Oct. 2 and 3. WFN television personality Mariko Izumi will act as the co-host of the event, while tournament results will be posted online at <http://www.wfn.tv/berkelyb1>. WFN will use its sponsorship of the event to promote the channel's recent availability in the Montreal area. "Now that all of Quebec's passionate anglers have the ability to get WFN though Videotron and the other local cable, satellite and telco providers, we will play an even bigger role in supporting Quebec's fishing community," said Mark Rubinstein, president and CEO of WFN. "We look forward to introducing WFN and our personalities to Quebec anglers at events such as the Berkley B1."
