R. Johnson begins awareness campaign

Vancouver-based executive recruitment firm R. Johnson has begun a marketing campaign intended to raise awareness of the Vancouver job market. The campaign, called "Flourish," was developed by R. Johnson and Mutt Industries of Portland, OR. The campaign includes the installation of floral terrariums placed in coffee shops and other locations around the city's business district. Promotional workers will also distribute terrariums and job-seeking advice in downtown Vancouver on Sept. 29. "Results from a recent survey show that Vancouver is expecting an improved hiring market, which is great news for job-seekers," said company president Richard Johnson. "With this campaign, we hope to motivate Vancouver professionals to find the job that will allow their careers to flourish and let them know we're here to help them on their search."
