Canwest promotes DIY Network Canada

Canwest Broadcasting has begun an advertising campaign for its new specialty channel, DIY Network Canada. The campaign is intended to raise awareness of the home improvement channel and promote a free preview current available. The national, three-week campaign includes print, radio, television and online advertising aimed primarily at males between the ages of 25 and 54 and their partners. Print ads depicting do-it-yourself projects are running the Vancouver Sun, Vancouver Province, Calgary Herald, Toronto Star, National Post and Metro Toronto. Radio ads are running in Toronto and Vancouver. Ten-second television commercials are running on Global Television, Canwest specialty channels and US cable channels. Banner ads are running on Canada.com, GlobalTV.com and the website of other Canwest properties.
