Transcontinental gains new assignments

Transcontinental of Toronto has recently gained a number of new assignments for its marketing communications division. Readers Digest Canada has hired the company to handle its marketing production, production coordination, proofreading, translation, design, packaging and art work services. The Shopping Channel has hired Transcontinental Digital Services to produce product photographs for use on-air. Retail chain Princess Auto has hired Conversys to develop an online flyer. Retail chain The Bargain Shop has hired ThinData to develop and manage its email marketing program. Purolator Courier has hired Transcontinental's database marketing division to handle marketing data management, customer analytics and campaign management. According to the Transcontinental, the new business is worth a combined $2.5 million.
