AIDS WALKS GET PUBLICITY BOOST

The Canadian AIDS Society will launch a national campaign later this summer to raise awareness of the AIDS Walk Canada event being held in September. The event involves over 60 AIDS walks across the country in an effort to raise $2.6 million for HIV/AIDS support, care, education and research in Canada. The ads were created by MacLaren McCann of Toronto. Sponsors of the event are Molson Breweries, Maclean's/L'actualité and the Life and Health Insurance Companies of Canada. The Canadian AIDS Society is a coalition of over 100 community-based organizations from across Canada.
