TVB PRESIDENT DEPARTS
By Adnews Staff
Cameron Fellman, president and CEO of the Television Bureau of Canada Inc., left his post last week after 13 years on the job. In a release, the chairman of the TVB board, George Gonzo, says that the organization is making some changes in order to focus attention on providing the industry with a resource centre that will serve the needs of member stations, agencies and advertisers. Reached at his home last week, Cameron Fellman told Adnews that TVB is going through downsizing as a result of membership decline. Fellman says he will spend the summer considering his options for the future, but he intends to pursue his career in the field of advertising and media. George Gonzo told Adnews last week that the process to select a new president is underway, and should yield a replacement "sooner rather than later."
