NEW AQUAFRESH HITS U.S. SHELVES

U.S.-based SmithKline Beecham Consumer Healthcare is launching a U.S. TV campaign later this month for its new Aquafresh Gum Care. The toothpaste works on the gums to reduce the risk of gingivitis. SmithKline has no immediate plans to launch the toothpaste in this country, Canadian brand manager Diane Misner told Adnews yesterday. She wouldn't comment on when or if the product will come to Canada in the future. In the U.S., Grey Advertising of New York will create advertising for Aquafresh gum Care.
