Porsche Canada hires Yield

Porsche Canada has appointed Yield of Toronto its advertising agency. Yield won the account in an eight-week selection process involving five other Canadian agencies. The agencies were asked to develop a communications strategy for the company reflecting the Porsche image and incorporating its upcoming vehicle the Panamera. "We chose Yield because we feel their people have a clear understanding of the Porsche brand," said Jasmin Rawlinson, marketing director at Porsche Canada. "Yield demonstrated an outstanding strategic and research process and uncovered the true essence of Porsche and the Porsche customer in Canada. Their creative team performed at a world-class level and demonstrated true passion for the brand." The assignment includes planning and creative for advertising, dealer promotions, direct mail, digital activities and events in French, Chinese and English. Media planning will be handled by GenesisVizeum, while Republik will handle French communications in Quebec.
