TORONTO CREATIVES BRING HOME AWARD FROM CANNES

Montreal-based BCP's copywriter Mike Leger and TAXI Advertising & Design's art director Jacqueline Zegray won the Crystal Apple award in the junior creative competition at Cannes last week. The event is designed to highlight the talent of young advertising professionals. This year it featured 19 teams from around the world. The teams had 24 hours to produce a campaign based on the theme of the World Wildlife Fund and the global interest for protecting the sea and fish. The winning concept was a billboard and will appear in Time Magazine's European edition and in the Wall Street Journal in October.
