Shannon joins NHL Network

CTV has appointed John Shannon executive in charge of programming and production for its NHL Network specialty channel. Shannon will also continue to be executive vice-president of programming and production for the National Hockey League. Before joining the NHL, he was vice-president of programming and executive producer at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. Prior to that, he was the executive producer of Hockey Night in Canada at CBC.
