3M Canada to distribute Red Green book

Toronto-based 3M Canada, maker of Scotch Duct Tape, has signed on as the exclusive Canadian distributor of a new biography of Steve Smith, creator of The Red Green Show. The book, called We're All In This Together, was written by Smith and home repair personality Mag Ruffman. It will be sold exclusively at hardware stores beginning Nov. 5. "Steve's audience has always been the handy people who visit hardware stores, so it just made sense to put the book where the people are," said Ruffman. To promote the book, the authors will conduct a national radio, television and print media tour. They will also make appearances at a number of Home Hardware, TruServ and Federated Co-op stores. A television commercial will also promote the book.
