Cadillac Fairview forms mall advertising deal with Traffic

Property developer Cadillac Fairview has signed an exclusive agreement with Montreal-based out-of-home media company Traffic to develop an inventory of advertising signage in a number of shopping malls in eastern Canada. The deal includes properties in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes. According to the company, the ad displays will be in non-traditional locations such as entrances, moving ramps and elevators, as well as in food courts. "For many advertisers, traditional signage is no longer enough," said Luc Vincent, manager of specialty leasing for Cadillac Fairview in eastern Canada. "These advertisers are looking to increase their visibility and enhance their advertising presence through activities that will give them wider control over shopping areas. With this new creative platform, we can reach consumers at the right place and at the right time, and create for them an inviting shopping environment."
