Canadian Youth Business Foundation conducts campaign

The Canadian Youth Business Foundation has begun an advertising campaign intended to encourage Canadians between the ages of 18 and 34 to start their own businesses. The national charitable organization specializes in providing start-up mentoring, financing and business resources for such endeavors. The campaign consists of print, online and out-of-home advertising, as well as campus activities and media relations. The print and Web elements were developed by Cohn & Wolfe of Calgary and Watermark Design of Toronto. The out-of-home ads were adapted from these materials by Outdoor Broadcast Network of Toronto. The print ad is running in the National Post, while the outdoor ads are running on video boards in 12 markets nationally. The initiative will run until mid-September. "CYBF will attract, encourage and guide more aspiring young people, with great business ideas, to launch and sustain a successful business," said Vivian Prokop, CEO of the foundation. "This in turn will help to drive the economic prosperity of Canadian communities, coast to coast."
