Captivate hires seven

Toronto-based out-of-home media company Captivate has recently added seven new staff members. Barb Huggett has joined the firm as vice-president of advertising sales. She was most recently a senior national account executive at Dynamic Outdoor. Prior to that, she was director of national sales and business development at Captivate.

Xin Gu has been appointed vice-president of real estate business development. She was most recently business development manager for new markets at GLG of New York. Prior to that, she was a senior strategic partner at JKS and Company.

Bill Lammers has been appointed to the position of national sales director. He was most recently an account manager at Pattison Outdoor. He has also worked at Outdoor Broadcast Network and Cineplex Media.

Ted Stanford has joined the company as national sales director for western Canada. He has previously worked for Welsh Sales Solutions, Zoom Media and Canwest.

Greg Cipryk has been hired as a sales executive. He was previously an account executive at Postmedia Network and a senior account manager at McLean & Company.

Nicole Thomas has been hired as a sales planner. She was most recently a national inside digital sales executive at QMI Sales. She was also a national sales coordinator and programmer at Astral Media.

Paulina Ignacak has joined the company as an editor. She has previously worked at 37th Avenue and the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.
