Vancouver police conduct out-of-home campaign

The Vancouver Police Department has begun an out-of-home and mobile advertising campaign intended to attract information about an attacker who has been sexually assaulting young women for the last two years. The campaign, conducted through Zoom Media, consists of 200 posters and 100 other advertising displays in the washrooms of the city's bars and nightclubs. The creative includes a quick-response code that smartphone users can use to access the police department website. "QR code campaigns are extremely effective in our networks because Zoom media provides 90 seconds of uninterrupted face time for advertisers, which is ample time for a consumer to read the ad and scan the code," said Zoom senior account executive Ted Stanford.
