Toronto Star, Captivate form agreement
By Derek Winkler
The Toronto Star has formed an agreement with out-of-home media company Captivate, intended to simplify the planning and buying of digital video ad campaigns. Through this agreement, Toronto Star content will appear on Captivate screens in downtown Toronto, while Captivate advertising will appear on the Star’s video properties.
“Our own video inventory has strong viewability and completion rates, on par with industry standards,” said Brandon Grosvenor, chief revenue officer at Torstar. “Expanding that level of performance and brand-safety for our clients’ video is important to us and we saw that Captivate could be an excellent extension to what we have on our sites.”
