Chop Steakhouse begins Star sponsorship

Restaurant chain Chop Steakhouse & Bar has begun a sponsorship with the Toronto Star focusing on the newspaper’s sports coverage. As part of the one-year promotion, Chop will be the exclusive sponsor of the live chats on TheStar.com during the NHL playoffs. The company will also sponsor a hockey-themed contest. The agreement also includes daily branding at the top of the paper’s sports section, exposure in its digital and newsletter editions, and other advertising.
