By Rob Bale
Restaurant chain Kinton Ramen has begun a joint promotion with clothing retailer Uniqlo called “UTme.” The initiative features a collection of ramen-themed t-shirts and tote bags which will be sold at participating Uniqlo locations. Consumers can customize the products using in-store tablets before they are printed. The products were designed by Toronto-based artist Tanya Mu. The promotion also includes product giveaways and social media content.
“Kinton Ramen is proudly Canadian, and as we grow across the country, it’s about more than just ramen,” said Alan De Luna, senior marketing manager at the company. “It’s about sharing culture in a way that feels local and real. Teaming up with Uniqlo isn’t just about style. It’s about celebrating food, art, and the communities that make Canada such a unique place. Seeing our ramen-inspired designs worn by fans everywhere is exactly the kind of moment we live for.”
