New president at Grip

Harvey Carroll yesterday assumed the position of president and partner at Toronto-based Grip. Carroll was most recently the vice-president of marketing for North America at Labatt Breweries of Canada. He has also worked for Kraft and Oland Specialty Beer. "While we have experienced tremendous growth over the past six years, we need to further unlock Grip's potential and continue to evolve ahead of the needs of our clients," said agency partner Bob Shanks. "Harvey's experience and success in this area will be a tremendous asset to help in achieving that goal." Labatt recently assigned its Budweiser, Bud Light, Stella Artois and Brahma accounts to Grip.
