Oshawa Centre retains Grip

The Oshawa Centre shopping mall in Oshawa, ON has hired Grip of Toronto to handle marketing for its current $230 million expansion and redevelopment program. The assignment includes creative and digital work for the expansion, which is expected to be completed by the spring of 2016. Grip won the account in a competitive pitch process. "We'll be doing far more than what is typically expected from an advertising agency," said Harvey Carroll, president of Grip. "Beyond the creative and social media work aimed at consumers, we'll work closely with our client to target and acquire the kind of retailers shoppers expect to find at a premium shopping centre." The Oshawa Centre is owned by Ivanhoe Cambridge.
