Television Bureau of Canada begins Bessies campaign

The Toronto-based Television Bureau of Canada has begun a marketing campaign in support of its annual Bessies Awards. The campaign, developed by John St. of Toronto, consists of print advertising and two online videos. The videos depict bad ideas for commercials being killed. One video features an animated rabbit who is shot while singing a jingle about candy. The second depicts a man being killed while shaving. Both videos end with the tagline, "Only good TV lives."
