Days Inns Canada promotes loyalty program

Toronto-based hotel chain Days Inns Canada has begun a direct mail and email ad campaign to support a spring promotion called "Double Points or Miles." Until May 15, customers will receive twice the usual number of loyalty points with either the company's own TripRewards program or the Aeroplan loyalty program. The promotion is intended to increase membership in the program. The campaign will reach approximately 300,000. Additional support will include in-hotel materials, website exposure and print advertising in Westjet's in-flight magazine.
