Days Inn Canada begins new campaign

Toronto-based hotel chain Days Inn Canada has begun an eight-week campaign in support of a fall promotion called "Stay Twice, Earn Up to One Free Night." Until Feb. 19, 2019, participants in the chain's Wyndham Rewards loyalty program will receive a free night's stay for each two qualifying nights they spend at a Days Inn hotel. The national campaign includes television and digital advertising, as well as social media activities. The television component was developed by Giants & Gentleman of Toronto. It includes 30-, 15- and 6-second commercials which will run on Sportsnet, Global, CTV and CityTV until Nov. 23. Media buying was handled by VMC Media.

"Our new marketing campaign is a key component of the Days Inn by Wyndham unique identity," said Ally Wesson, senior director of marketing at Days Inns Canada. "With over 110 locations across Canada, Days Inn provides business travellers with a base camp to work from, with great amenities like free Wi-Fi and free breakfast. We want all travellers to 'Seize the Days' and make memories along the way. After all, business travel is still travel."
