Toronto-based High View Communications has joined 10 other international public relations agencies to form a new entity called Public Relations Boutiques International. The 11 firms will jointly seek international accounts and provide extended services to each other's clients. The other members of the group are Bridge Global Strategies of New York, Campaignteam of Sussex, C.J.'s World Public Relations & Communications of Seoul, Japan Public Relations Institute of Tokyo; Lang/Pan/Chan Public Relations of Los Angeles, Marx Communications of Connecticut, Media & Communications Strategies of Washington, Metrospective Communications of Philadelphia, Scott Phillips & Associates of Chicago, Shira Miller Communications of Atlanta and Weisberg Communications of Salt Lake City. The group is also seeking additional members. "We are all senior counselors and offer clients the benefit of years of experience and expertise in our fields," said Lucy Siegel, president and CEO of Bridge Global Strategies and president of the group. "Most of us have worked for large and mid-size agencies and know the shortcomings for clients in those settings. Clients of large agencies are too often assigned to junior and inadequately supervised personnel. We started our companies to provide clients with hands-on work by seasoned professionals. We are oriented to producing meaningful client results." Ann Gallery, president of High View, has been appointed treasurer of the group.
