Audi Canada conducts Quattro campaign

Audi Canada began a new campaign for its Quattro all-wheel drive vehicle with an event in Toronto yesterday. Five snowplows travelled the streets of that city, displaying the copy "Winter is coming" and "Be prepared." The campaign also includes newspaper advertising using the headline "Tell Jack Frost to bite it." Thirty-second radio commercials also use an anti-winter theme, as do the in-dealership materials. Online advertising is also in use. "It's cheeky, it's aggressive, and it's definitely going to grab your attention," said Doug Clark, director of communications at Audi Canada. The campaign, which is intended to attract customers into dealerships, was developed by Lowe Roche of Toronto. Media planning was handled by MBS. The initiative will continue until the end of the week.
