Optimum Public Relations wins Iams account

Procter & Gamble has hired Toronto-based Optimum Public Relations to handle Canadian public relations for its Iams brand of pet food. The assignment will involve a series of event sponsorships, including the Banff Summit for Urban Animal Strategies later this month. "We [looked] at the business holistically and conducted research to reveal unique consumer insights," said Charlene Lo, group account director at Optimum. "It was a collaborative effort that resulted in a winning plan with multiple consumer touchpoints." Optimum is a business unit of Cossette Communication Group.
