National promotes one, adds one

National Public Relations of Toronto has promoted Ronald Alepian to the position of senior vice-president for corporate and financial communications. He also remains general manager of National Equicom, the agency's investor relations practice. Prior to joining the firm last year, Alepian was the chief communications officer at CA Technologies. He has also been group head of corporate marketing and communications at TMX Group and vice-president of global communications at Nortel. Alepian has also worked at Bell Canada and Cossette.
Nini Krishnappa has joined National as a vice-president in the Toronto corporate communications practice. He was most recently director of corporate communications at BMO Financial Group. Prior to that, he was the public affairs manager at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. He was also head of public relations at Symantec Canada. Krishnappa has also worked at Genesis Burson-Marteller, Hill&Knowlton Strategies, Optimum Public Relations and the Reform Party of Canada.
