Lancome begins Catch the Fever promotion

Cosmetics company Lancôme has begun an online promotion in support of a new line of lipsticks called Color Fever. The promotion, developed by Publicis Montreal, consists of a website at <> at which visitors can view three video vignettes depicting a woman discovering her sensuality through various shades of lipstick. The site will be supported with two contests. The first, which is open to anyone, consists of a draw for one of ten Color Fever lipstick sets. The second contest can only be entered by visitors who have purchased a Color Fever product and received an access code for the site’s VIP Lounge area. The prize in this contest is $3,000 toward the winner’s ultimate fantasy. The promotion also includes magazine inserts, in-store materials, in-store activities, postcards, email and online ad banners.
