Sponsorship roundup

Toronto-based APTN has signed an agreement making it a sponsor and official Aboriginal broadcaster of the 2007 Canada Games, which will take place from Feb. 23 to March 10 in Whitehorse. The company will provide a minimum of 26 hours of coverage of the games, along with TSN and CBC. Video coverage will also be available through the channel’s website at <http://www.aptn.ca>. “We are extremely proud to play such a significant role in bringing the Canada Winter Games to homes across the country,” said Jean LaRose, CEO of APTN. “APTN is realizing a network first with our event coverage of these games and is poised to offer our viewers a distinctly Aboriginal viewing experience through our added coverage of the Pan North Inuit Games.”
