Cineplex Entertainment, in association with Walt Disney Pictures, has launched an online game to promote the Feb. 16 release of the film “Bridge to Terabithia.” The game, which is located on the Cineplex.com website, was developed by OneMethod of Toronto. The game and the film are aimed at children between the ages of eight and 12. The game, which takes place in the world of the movie, also includes a feature to allow players to invite others to join via email. “Interactive projects such as this online game offer one of the best avenues to truly engage an audience,” said Amin Todai, president and CEO of OneMethod.
