Tadiem acquires Folk

Tadiem, the parent company of Bensimon Byrne, OneMethod and Narrative, has established a fourth division for recently-acquired Folk. The Montreal-based brand consulting agency will continue to operate as its own entity while also providing services to other Tadiem divisions. According to the company, the acquisition will also establish a presence for Tadiem in Quebec.

Folk senior executives Joannie Denault and Fanny Chabot will remain with the firm as executive vice-presidents of brand strategy, while Claudia Milord will remain executive vice-president and managing director.

“Folk has built an impressive brand consultancy business, and their understanding of Quebec ensures a national perspective for our clients,” said Tadiem CEO Sarah Spence. “We have always had a strategy-first philosophy, and acquiring a strategy shop with deep knowledge of the Quebec market is emblematic of how we approach our clients’ needs.”
