Electrolux consolidates appliance marketing at Scratch

Appliance maker Electrolux has assigned all of its major appliance marketing in Canada to Toronto-based Scratch. The agency received the account on the basis of its work for Electrolux’s Frigidaire brand. The expanded account includes the Frigidaire, Westinghouse and Icon product lines. According to Scratch, the primary focus of its marketing effort will remain on the Frigidaire line and its three sub-brands, the Base series, the Gallery series and the Professional series. “If you look at what Scratch did for us on Frigidaire in just a year, the results are undeniable,” said Stephanie Clarke, marketing manager at Electrolux. “I am confidant that Electrolux and White Westinghouse will share the same level of success with Scratch on the account.”
