Porter Novelli promotes one, hires two

Public relations agency Porter Novelli Canada has promoted Brigitte Filiatrault to the position of director of its Montreal office. She will lead the firm’s day-to-day operations in that city and provide counsel to a number of national and Quebec-based clients, including Bell Canada, Procter & Gamble, Monster Canada and Wyeth Consumer Health. Filiatrault has been the manager of this location since June. Sylvie Piche has joined the Montreal office as a senior consultant. She will work primarily on national healthcare and consumer accounts, including Wyeth, Duracell and Bell Canada. In Vancouver, Kelly Cousins has joined Porter Novelli as a coordinator. Cousins previously worked in the communications department of the Canadian Embassy in Berlin.
