Porter Novelli adds two, promotes one

Porter Novelli Canada of Toronto has hired Brenda Paul-Ishikawa vice-president of its Health and Nutrition and Corporate Communications practices. She will oversee business activities for clients including King Pharma, the Almond Board of California and Alcon. Paul-Ishikawa is currently director of communications for the Canadian Association of Income Funds. Saskia Brussaard has been promoted to the position of manager in the Healthcare and Nutrition practice. Brussaard was previously an account supervisor in the practice. Sylvie Piche has joined the agency's Montreal office as a senior consultant. She was most recently working for the firm on a contract basis. Prior to that, she worked in the communications department of the St. Mary's Hospital Center in Montreal.
