Cadbury Adams releases new Caramilk commercial

Cadbury Adams has released a new television commercial for its Caramilk chocolate bar. The 30-second ad, produced by MacLaren McCann, depicts a man arriving home just as his wife is eating the last piece of a Caramilk bar. The scene replays several times, each time showing the couple getting older. A voiceover says, “What is the secret behind the Caramilk bar? Is it how they get the Caramilk inside? Or is the real secret behind the Caramilk bar finding someone who will share?” The ad ends with the tagline, “Too good to share.” The ad, which is aimed at adults aged 18 to 49, will air nationally in English and French for the next six to eight months. “In course of our research, we learned that despite the divisible design of the Caramilk bar, people just don’t like to share it,” said Lezlie Grossman, general manager of MacLaren McCann. “We decided to highlight this unique consumer behaviour by exaggerating it over a long period of time.”
