Cadbury Adams begins Bubblicious Ink'd campaign

Candy company Cadbury Adams has begun an advertising campaign for a new chewing gum product called Bubblicious Ink'd. The 30-second television commercial features the same young male character who appeared in the company's campaign for Bubblicious Bursts last year. The ad invites viewers to visit the Bubblicious.ca website to enter a trip to a Vans Warped Tour concert and a Nintendo DS video game system. The ad, which was developed by Youthography of Toronto, is airing on MuchMusic, YTV, Teletoon and MTV. "We wanted to capture the unexpectedness of the product, but in a tone that young people could identify with," said Youthography creative director Sean Claessen. "We feel that the technique of the spot, the approach and the score really reflects that unexpectedness. It lets us see and understand the attitude of the gum."As part of the campaign, the brand is also sponsoring several Canadian professional skateboarders.
