Colleges Ontario conducts direct marketing campaign
By Adnews Staff
Colleges Ontario has recently completed a direct marketing campaign intended to encourage potential students to enroll in one of the province's colleges prior to the start of the school year. The campaign, called "Get a Real Job," was developed by Youthography of Toronto. The campaign consisted of a series of five emails sent to students who had applied to a college and been accepted, but had not confirmed that they would attend. The emails focused on a college education as a path to a career. Each email also addressed a common reason for not attending. The creative featured a number of exaggerated low-level jobs, such as Swiss Cheese Counterfeiter and Domino Dot Painter, that might be a recipient's only options without the benefits of college attendance.
