Neo Advertising moves into Canada

Digital signage company Neo Advertising of Switzerland has officially opened its Canadian head office in Montreal, along with a branch office in Toronto. Neo made its first move into the Canadian market last month with the purchase of Montreal-based Digital Advertising Network. Benjamin Mathieu has been appointed chief executive officer, while Ian Dobson has been appointed vice-president of sales. Mathieu was previously president of the Canadian subsidiary of BroadSign. Most recently he was vice-president of sales at BroadSign International. Dobson was previously at DAN Media. Prior to that, he was president of the Resort Media Group. Neo’s plans in Canada include an expansion of the Digital Advertising Network service, both in the number of participating sites and the number of display screens per location. The company will also work to develop and American inventory in association with Clear Channel. Neo hopes to install signs in 200 US-based shopping centres by 2008.
