Corus Quebec appoints two vice-presidents

Montreal-based Corus Quebec has appointed Mario Cecchini vice-president of the Montreal region and Jacques Papin network vice-president. Both will begin work on July 31. Cecchini was most recently president of Zoom Media. Prior to that, he was executive vice-president of Telemedia Quebec and Ontario. Papin previously held the position of director general of Corus Radio stations CKAC, Info 690, 940 News and CKOI. Cecchini will now be responsible for Montreal stations 98.5 FM, Q92 FM, CKOI, CKAC, Info 690 and 940Montreal. Papin will be responsible for CIME Saint-Jérôme, CFEL Montmagny, CHLN Trois-Rivières, CHLT Sherbrooke, CJRC Gatineau, CKRS Saguenay, CKTS Sherbrooke, CFOM Lévis and CHRC Quebec City.
