Chocolat magazine to debut in September

Rogers Publishing of Toronto will debut a new national shopping magazine called Chocolat in September. The publication, which will be produced in English and French, will focus on home decor products and services. It will be distributed for free for one year to 250,000 Canadians who have recently moved, selected from Canada Post customers who have registered a change of address. After the first year, recipients will have the option of switching to a paid subscription. The magazine will also be sold on newsstands. The magazine will cover styles and trends in home decor, along with advice on decoration. “We’re very excited about introducing Chocolat to Canadian readers and advertisers in the coming months,” said Kerry Mitchell, publisher of the magazine and vice-president of Rogers Consumer Publishing. “Chocolat leverages Rogers’ expertise in catering to both English and French readers and employs a unique distribution model to deliver those readers a home decor magazine with the shopping approach we know they love.”
