Labatt resumes steak and Bud Light promotion

Labatt Breweries of Canada has resumed a promotion introduced last summer that involves a coupon for two free steaks in specially-marked 24-bottle cases of Bud Light. The promotion is being conducted in Ontario in association with M&M Meat Shops. According to the brewery, last year the promotion achieved an 80% redemption rate. “We’ve had a lot of serious interest over the last year from passionate beer drinkers begging us to bring back this promotion,” said Keith Fawcett, Bud Light brand manager at Labatt. “We understand that to guys, the marriage between beer and steak is no joke.” The offer is being promoted with a television, radio and online ad campaign developed by Downtown Partners.
