Telus breaks spring campaign for Internet service in Quebec

LXB Communication Marketing of Montreal has created a spring campaign for Telus to promote its GlobeTrotter high speed Internet service. The campaign consists of three print executions and a 30-second television commercial. The creative consists of a number of brightly coloured tropical birds against a white background, along with copy that describes the company’s offer of a free portable DVD player with a high speed Internet subscription. “Since this campaign coincided with the introduction of a new platform based on birds, we wanted to develop an approach which would help GlobeTrotter benefit from an immediate liking for the birds, and at the same time underline the offer,” said Manon Deschênes, senior account manager at LXB.
