Ford, CBC hold My Favourite Coach contest

Ford Of Canada and the CBC have begun a national contest promotion tied to the Hockey Night In Canada broadcasts of the NHL playoffs. The contest, called “My Favourite Coach,” began on May 16 and will run until June 15. During the promotion, viewers can visit a website at <http://www.cbc.ca/sports> to submit stories about their favourite coaches. The grand prize winner, as selected by a judging panel, will receive a 2006 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Lariat Wayne Gretzky Limited Edition pickup truck, as well as a trip for two to Toronto for a behind-the-scenes tour of Hockey Night In Canada. The contest is being supported with a 30-second commercial running on CBC for four weeks during the playoffs. The ad depicts various people, including Wayne Gretzky, describing their favourite coaches.
